Harrington and Mutual Aid Companies Assist Houston Fire Company with Building Fire

On Wednesday December 3, 2025 at 10:05 hrs. the Houston, Harrington and Carlisle (Milford) Fire Companies along with Kent County EMS were dispatched to a building fire in the 1200 Block of Sandbox Rd. in Houston.  Units arrived on scene to find a large commercial work shop fully involved.  Additional tankers were requested to the scene bringing the Farmington, Frederica, South Bowers and Magnolia Fire Companies.  Units operated on scene for several hours. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office for further investigation.  The Harrington Fire Company responded with Tower 50, Tanker, Engine 50-5 and Ambulances B-50 and C-50.   Houston Fire Company Fire Chief Lance Mast was OIC.
