Vehicle Accident in Harrington Involving Bicycle
Tuesday, May 5, 2026

On Tuesday May 5, 2026 at 12:21 hours the Harrington Fire Company along with Kent County EMS and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to a vehicle accident involving a bicycle at the intersection of South DuPont Hwy. and Liberty St.  Units arrived to find an accident involving a bicycle and vehicle with one subject was suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.  The injured subject was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.  DSP Trooper 2 was cancelled prior to arrival.  The scene was turned over to the Harrington Police Department for further investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, Ambulance C-50, Engine 50-5, KM-8, Harrington PD and Fire Police.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  3rd Asst. Chief Mark Scribner Jr.
