Several Companies Assists Houston with Working House Fire
Monday, April 6, 2026

On Monday April 6, 2026 at 11:57 am the Harrington Fire Company along with several other mutual aid companies assisted the Houston Fire Company with a working house fire on Front St. in Houston.  Units arrived to find a large two story house fully involved.  Several hose lines, a deck gun and an arial master stream were put in service.  A water shuttle was also set up.  The scene was placed under control in approximately one hour and units operated on scene for several hours.  Harrington Fire Company responded with Tanker 50 and Engines 50-4 and 50-5.  The Carlisle (Milford), Farmington, Felton, Greenwood and South Bowers Fire Companies along with Kent County EMS also assisted.  OIC was Houston Fire Company Chief Eric Ross.
