Harrington Fire Co. Responds to Vehicle Fire on Delaware Ave.

On Thursday May 16, 2024 at 1718 hr. the Harrington Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle fire in the 200 Block of Delaware Ave.  Units arrived on scene to find the engine compartment of an SUV on fire.  Crews placed one hand line in service and quickly extinguished the fire.  The scene was then placed under control and scene was turned over to the Harrington Police Department for further investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, Engines 50-4 and 50-1, Brush 50, Ambulance C-50, Fire Police and Harrington PD.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Deputy Chief Robbie Brode.
