Serious MVC - S Dupont Hwy

On 10/2/2018 at approximately 12:03 hrs, the Harrington Fire Company along with KM-8, KM-5 and DSP Avaiation were alerted for a motor vehicle accident involving multiple vehicles and serious injuries reported.  Units arrived on scene to find a three car mvc with ejection and multiple patients.  One subject was pronounced deceased at the scene and two others were treated, with one transported with non-life threatening injuries and the other refusing further treatment after initial treatment at the scene.  Command placed the incident under control, clearing units and turning the incident over to the Delaware State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit.  Due to the severity of the incident and out of respect to all those involved, pictures will not be posted at this time.  We continue to keep all those involved and affected by this incident in our thoughts and prayers.
