MVC on Milford-Harrington Highway with Fly-Out

On Saturday November 25, 2023 at 9:53 am the Harrington Fire Company along with Kent County EMS and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to a vehicle accident on Milford-Harrington Hwy. in the area of John Andrews Drive.  Units arrived on scene to find a two vehicle accident with two injured adults and one injured pediatric patient.  The two adults were transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.  The pediatric patient was flown by DSP Trooper 2 to AI DuPont Hospital.   Units secured the vehicles for any hazards and the scene was then placed under control.  Units then cleared the scene and the scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation.  UNITS ON SCENE:  50 Command, Engine 50-5, Rescue 50, Brush 50, Ambulances A-50, C-50 and B-48, KM-8, KM-10, DSP Trooper 2 and Patrol Units, Harrington PD and Fire Police.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Deputy Fire Chief Kenny Brode.
