MVC - Whitelysburg RD @ Brownsville Rd

On Sunday October 3, 2021 at 12:43 pm the Harrington Fire Company, Felton Fire Company (Rescue Assist), Kent County EMS and Delaware State Police Aviation Trooper 4 were dispatched for a vehicle accident with possible entrapment on Whitelysburg Rd. in the area of Brownsville Rd.  Officer 50-17 (Asst. Chief Derrick Brode) arrived on scene and confirmed a single vehicle rollover accident with one subject ejected from the vehicle.  EMS units arrived and accessed the injured subject and confirmed the subject was deceased.  The vehicle was then checked for any hazards.  The scene was then placed under control and all units remained on scene assisting the Delaware State Police.  Delaware State Police Aviation and Rescue/Engine 48-1 were cancelled prior to arrival.  After units cleared the scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for investigation.  The roadway was shut down for several hours.  UNITS ON SCENE:  Officer 50-17, Rescue 50, Engine 50-1, Brush 50, Ambulance A-50, Harrington PD, DSP Patrol Units, DSP CRU,  Del-Dot and Fire Police.  OFFICER IN CHARGE:  Asst.
