MVC - S. Dupont Hwy @ Winkler Rd

On Monday April 5, 2021 at 0249 hrs. the Harrington Fire Company, Kent County EMS and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to a vehicle accident on South DuPont Hwy. north of Winkler Rd. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle overturned in a field. The driver of the vehicle was out of the vehicle and suffered non-life threatening injuries. The driver was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment. Firefighters then checked the vehicle for any hazards. The scene was placed under control and all units cleared the scene. The scene was turned over to the Delaware State Police for further investigation. UNITS ON SCEEN: 50 Command, Ambulance A-50, Rescue 50, KM-8, Harrington PD, Delaware State Police and Fire Police.
